Welcome to Mountain Song

• We are a joyful community chorus bringing people together as a musical family. We are an inclusive, secular chorus.

• Singing songs of all styles in engaging performances in Saluda, Hendersonville, Tryon, Rutherfordton NC and beyond. 

• Centered in Saluda but with a regional reach to Tryon, Brevard, Rutherfordton, Hendersonville and even Spartanburg and Traveler's Rest SC. We are only a short drive away from you. Come join our musical family!

• Open to all singers, age 16 and above, who can sing their part in four-part choir music. You don't have to read music or sing solos. (We do require an informal vocal interview with a director to hear your vocal tone and make sure you can sing your part. We promise not to intimidate you, so don't let this keep you from coming.)

• FALL REHEARSALS BEGIN MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8! Plan now to join us.

• Rehearsals each Monday evening 6:30 to 8pm at the Saluda Center, 64 Greenville St, Saluda NC 28773. (1 block uphill from Main St.)

• We promise fast-paced, engaging rehearsals learning fun, familiar pop songs to perform with excellence. Demo recordings for your vocal part are provided free.

• Two Fall concerts will be scheduled in the November 13-16 calendar slot. Dates, times, and locations to be announced at first rehearsal.

• Our Fall repertoire will feature songs of Paul Simon and James Taylor.
